With over 15 years of experience working with top brokerage houses in India, Viral has solidified his expertise as a well-rounded investment professional. Over the course of his career, he has worked as an institutional sell side equity analyst serving various mutual funds and FIIs. He was actively involved in the transaction life cycle of PE deals right from planning of fundraising, valuation until disbursement of funds for several million dollar deals during his time working in private equity.

Over the past 5 years, he has been associated with Sharekhan Education as a fundamental analysis expert and has been instrumental in developing the investing courses for Sharekhan Education. He tells his students to approach stock market investing as a bottle of water rather than a soda - “The soft drink fizzes out when shaken while the water remains calm.” he would say.

Viral also believes that knowledge becomes powerful only when it is implemented efficiently and effectively. His personal "Why" is to help students develop their knowledge of best practices and self-discipline to apply this knowledge consistently.
